The Regional Leadership Series is an eight-part transformational journey for business leaders and professionals from across Gippsland.

The series is a working breakfast program focusing on building the capability of new and existing leaders. This program is designed for leaders, managers and professionals from government, business, industry and service organisations.

Over breakfast, participants will workshop exercises designed to enable greater understanding of the challenges faced by leaders in transitioning from management to leadership. In this hands-on environment, participants will be facilitated by some of Australiaís leading experts in strategic management, transformational leadership, organisational development and culture change.

The Regional Leadership Series is a joint initiative between GippsTAFE, Leadership Psychology Australia and the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Participation in the Regional Leadership Series is an ideal opportunity to network with professional colleagues from small, medium and large-scale regional businesses and government departments while interacting with specialist leadership facilitators.

The Regional Leadership Series was definitely money well spent. It delivered informative, well constructed sessions with inspirational facilitators. Each session was interesting and enjoyable but above all, motivating.

The format of professional presentations combined with the open group discussions and online forum were highly beneficial to me and my business needs. The series provided a wonderful opportunity to network with others in a relaxed atmosphere providing the opportunity to learn from both the facilitators and my peers.

I highly recommend this course to any business leader aspiring to take their leadership skills to the next level and get the best out of themselves and their team.

My participation in the Regional Leadership Series has been a wonderful opportunity to hear from industry experts the latest trends and styles of leadership. This was complemented by networking opportunities, discussion groups and exceptional catering.

I am now keen to incorporate some of these skills and ideas into my organisationís training program.

The Regional Leadership Series has reinforced my original ideals from when I started my business many years ago. As we all experience, the bigger strategic picture tends to take a back seat to the everyday running of the business, which is why this type of networking and professional development is so important.

The series provided me with a clear structure of how to go about leadership in my business and community roles and through the workshopping and networking opportunities Iíve been able to think deeply about potential areas of improvement in my leadership style and practice. I have and continue to put into practice principles from the series and I think the business is really starting to reap some of the rewards.

The presenters were fantastic, it was a great networking environment and I can recommend the series to any business owner interested in growing their business.
